Hey. Hi. Hello.
As the title might suggest, I officially turned 24 years old on Friday. What a concept. Wow, age, am I right? I started the day off the same as any other day. And that would be repeatedly hitting the snooze button 15 times, and burrowing deeper into my bed. When I managed to roll my sleep deprived self out of bed, and into some clothes, I decided on this off-the-shoulder dress.

Dress:Β Old Navy Similar:Β ASOSΒ Sandals: Rue21 Bandana: Walmart
As you can see, I paired it with black sandals and a red bandana (I ended up using the bandana as a belt). I also wore a two-in-one necklace and called it a day.
Now lemme tell you, this dress is the perfect activity dress. It’s flowy, meaning you can eat a house and not feel bloated. It’s a classic Bardot style, which in my opinion, is always in style. If you want to feel casual and chic, I would recommend this style, especially if you are running out and about all day. Take it from someone who skips and runs like a deer, you will not feel inhibited.

Starting off the birthday festivities, I met up with a friend and saw The Incredibles 2. Good golly gosh. It was… INCREDIBLE. Pun very much intended. I know some people are always hesitant to watch sequels because, “Ah, the first one was so good, what if this one sucks.” You can just scrap that idea out of your head, right now. This movie was worth the 14 years we had to wait. I will probably end up seeing it a second or third time. I laughed throughout the entire movie and also received a free poster from our theatre. If you are still hesitant to see the movie, which I doubt, Jack Jack vs. a raccoon. All I’m gonna say.
Afterwards, I stopped by my friend’s house. We share a birthday, so we planned to celebrate together. We decided on going to our local Farmer’s Market, since once a month our Farmer’s Market has late hours instead of their normal weekend hours. It just so happened that their Night Market fell on our birthday.

You know when you go to a Farmer’s market and you’re like, “Man, I love all the fresh produce and local grown veggies. I should really come here more often.” But then you just end up going to Kroger, or some other grocery store, because you forget the Farmer’s Market actually exists unless you’re there. Or, you go to the Market when you’re not ready to shop for groceries. No, just me? Maybe if I didn’t live 35 minutes away from it, I would frequent it more. Because look how yummy these veggies look.

Our Farmer’s Market also has a lovely garden section, a.k.a overpriced succulents. The amount of money I would spend in this shop, if I had room and funds for more house plants, would not be ideal. I could be one step closer to a village witch, luring small cats and faeries to my cottage.

These are tiny plant holders that look like roman heads. Yes, take my money. (Looks at price, ha ha ha, just kidding, maybe later.)

I feel like I should be giving wise sage advice on how to live each day as our last, since no one ever knows when their last birthday will be. But I’m also still trying to figure out life and accept it as it comes. So, I don’t think that would be very productive today.
Instead of giving you sugary sweet ideas, I’ll give you little life goals that I’m trying to achieve.
- Save money by not spending on wants, try to only spend on needs.
- Find a better job.
- Understand my feelings.
- Stop getting stressed on things I can’t change.
- Be content in my own presence.
- Drink more water.
- Stop apologizing.
- Floss more.
And that, dear friends, is all my brain has for you today. What are some of your life goals?

All the puns today.Β Thanks for reading, kiddos.
