Pricing & Info
Originals
All of my paintings are large, highly detailed canvases that take me months to finish. They’re layered, scraped, destroyed, rebuilt, and sometimes revisited long after I first called them “done.” No two are alike, and once an original is sold, it’s gone forever.
- Large (24×36”) → $1,500 – $2,000
- Extra-large (30×40” to 36×48”) → $2,000 – $3,000
- Oversized (48×60” and above) → $3,000 – $5,000+
Prices vary depending on the size and complexity of the piece. Each canvas is a slow build that is unhurried, chaotic, and uniquely alive.
Commissions & Customs
I take on a limited number of custom canvases each year. Commissions start at $2,000.
If you’re interested in collaborating on a custom piece, please email me directly at marysaysmeh@gmail.com. We’ll discuss size, color, energy, and overall vibe, while I still keep the raw, messy energy that defines my work.
The Process
My paintings aren’t quick. Each canvas is layered with months of texture and detail until it feels alive. That time investment is part of what makes them truly one of a kind. Some pieces evolve fast, others fight me until I can’t stand to look at them anymore, and that’s when I know they’re finished (at least for now).
Every original is signed not with my name, but with my thumbprint pressed into the paint, leaving a small, personal mark of love behind.
FAQ
Do you make prints?
Not at this time — every piece is one of a kind. If I ever decide to produce prints, they would likely be limited-edition prints. I feel like prints diminish the texture of my work and do not accurately represent the piece’s details.
Do you ship?
Yes! I carefully package each canvas for safe arrival. Shipping costs vary based on size and location.
How long does a custom take?
Months, not weeks. I refuse to rush the process. Because I work in layers, I constantly add paint, scrape, destroy, and rebuild the piece until the canvas finally comes together. I’ll revisit the canvas, challenge it, and then let it breathe.
Do you recreate sold works?
Never. Originals are originals, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Collector’s Note: Each original includes a signed authenticity mark — my thumbprint in paint, alongside a Certificate of Authenticity.
Thank you so much
Thank you for supporting my work. Every canvas is a chaotic, textured experiment that eventually finds its place. If you’re interested in a custom canvas or would like more information on an available piece, once again, please email me at marysaysmeh@gmail.com.
